I am enthusiastic about plants and they are chiefly what makes a garden, but making the 'bones' or hard landscaping of a garden work by moving the space around an area, can achieve a huge difference to the ambience. Always working with what we know offers its own solutions to enhance the atmosphere.

Finding different places to sit and view the garden, creating different views in and out of it; the whole exercise is exciting because every garden is ultimately different.
