"The new design has worked exceptionally well and is much admired by visitors. On a practical note, the new paving has made access easier and solved the problem of flooding outside the front door."

"Over the past three years Lynda has performed a Herculean task of clearing and pruning, and after making a survey and producing a detailed plan has carried out a program of planting, in addition to doing the routine maintenance. I have been able confidently to leave everything to her judgement, although she always discusses her proposals with me before going ahead.
This has completely transformed the garden to the extent that instead of making me ashamed of it, it now gives me a great deal of pleasure, and visitors are very complimentary."

"We're very appreciative of the service that you have provided. We initially approached the whole project with some uncertainty but when you took us through your half dozen outline concepts we became confident that we were on the right track. One of the keys to success in any kind of construction project is the communication between designer and engineer and this has worked really well, from the starting point of your clear, hard landscaping plan and detailed tender specification, right through the regular contact on site with Plantsmanship. You also took the initiative in finding some of the key features in the design, particularly unearthing the wrought iron gate and arch and some of the terracotta pieces.
We are delighted with the results, which have, I think, surpassed our expectations."

"The client care on this contract was exemplary. A very proficient job delivered with excellent attention to detail by all staff on walls, paving and the Alan Wilson mirrored water sculpture. Planting, led by the designer, Lynda Benson, assisted by the contractor, has matured rapidly. The client is overjoyed at the result and every opportunity is taken to spend time outside."

"You have involved us very fully and effectively in the planning, design and development of the garden, and kept us well informed. Your after sales service has been excellent and will, we trust, continue in an advisory and maintenance role. It has been a pleasure feeling that we have been working togeter on what has turned out to be quite a long project!"

"Lynda presented several draft plans for our consideration, and after helpful discussion of ideas and proposals, she drew up a masterplan showing detail of the hard and soft landscaping. She supervised contractors to carry out the hard landscaping which involved laying a patio and path, erecting a summerhouse and relocating the garden gate in the fence. Lynda then completed the planting work herself.
We were very impressed with the high standard of her work, particularly the drawings, knowledge of the plants and the best locations for them, as well as her professionalism in drawing up a work contract and supervision of the project as a whole."

"You have given us our own little haven. You have turned a flat, boring garden into a garden of many interests, with heights and curves; the tree, the raised beds, and our secluded sitting area; the bamboo and the fragrance, and the movement of the flowers and shrubs, with the rustling of the grasses – well done, Lynda! It has been a pleasure having you around."

"I found the whole experience of having my roof terrace designed really enjoyable. As the terrace leads off my bedroom, it is like an extension of my house, and the interview process clarified my tastes in interior design as well as outside planting! I now have a terrace I'm proud of."
